The Siren camera captures amazing video with the capability of filming simultaneously in both directions with full HD at 60 frames per second. This allows for high quality x 2 slow-motion footage, dramatising the video experience and allowing selection of incredible motionless images.
The Siren camera isn’t interested in being on your line all of the time. We think that would be a bad idea and unhelpful to catching fish. So instead, the Siren camera is designed to let you fish as normal, but then quickly and easily attach it after that reel screams out!
The Siren camera floats on the surface while the fishing line free-runs through it. This means you get epic shots back at the angler, and can watch the fish getting closer and closer to the camera as the fight goes on! But best of all, you don't have to worry about losing your Siren camera if the line breaks.
The Siren camera allows the user to activate / deactivate the in-built GPS locator as they wish. Use this option to remember the exact location of your new favourite fishing spot and reduce the risk of camera loss even more! What would a smart marine camera be without GPS?
As the Siren camera stays on the surface, it's capable of providing an uninterrupted Wi-Fi connection to the Siren App. Watch the action unfold in real time from the boat, quayside, riverbank or beach! We’ve also made the battery charging wireless so there’s never a need to expose the units internals to water.
Create groups on the Siren App with friends, fishing clubs, or anyone else to show them how your fishing trip is going. Share footage in real-time with your mate stuck at work of you fighting that once-in-a-lifetime fish!
We have included digital image stabilization to compensate for camera motion in the water, while still maintaining an authentic perspective of the fishing action.
Siren is equipped with GPS, date and time stamp and a water temperature sensor to allow you to build your own fishing data. Use this information to better understand your fishing environment and enhance your next trip on the water.
The idea for Siren was born from a frustrating fishing experience co-founder Phil had after spending a day on the water and returning empty handed. With nothing to show after a 15 min battle, that ended with the line breaking, Phil would have settled to at least see the monster that he was fighting.
This moment sparked the idea of being able to connect a camera after hook up that was capable of capturing both sides of the fight. Since then the Siren journey has been filled with many triumphs as the team build what has never been built before.
